These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the website www.herstoryportugal.com and any services related to booking walking tours with Herstory Portugal (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By using our website and booking a tour, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Website Use

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use our website and book a tour. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

  • Content: All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is owned by Herstory Portugal or licensed to us. You may not use, copy, or distribute this content without our permission.

  • Accuracy: We make every effort to ensure the information on our website is accurate. However, we do not guarantee that all information is error-free and may update the website as needed.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Booking a Tour: When you book a tour through our website, you provide us with necessary details like your name, contact information, and payment information. Your booking is considered a request, not a confirmation.

  • Tour Availability: Tours are subject to availability. After you book, we will send you a confirmation email with the final details, including date, time, and meeting point. Your tour is not officially confirmed until you receive this email.

  • Payment: Payments for tours must be completed at the time of booking. If payment is not received, your booking will not be confirmed.

  • Tour Details: We will send the details of your tour, including the exact time and meeting location, via email after your booking is confirmed. If you do not receive this confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us.

3. Cancellations and Changes

  • Cancellation by You: If you need to cancel or reschedule your tour, please notify us at least 3 days in advance. Cancellations made less than 3 days before the tour may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50%.

  • Cancellation by Us: In rare cases, we may need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule.

  • No-Show: If you do not show up for your scheduled tour without prior notice, no refund will be issued.

4. Tour Participation

  • Health and Safety: Participants should be in good health and physically able to complete the tour. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, please inform us before booking.

  • Behavior: We expect all participants to behave respectfully toward the guide and other guests. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the tour who is disruptive or violates the rules without a refund.

5. Availability and Confirmation

  • Tour Confirmation: After you complete your booking, we will send you a confirmation email with all the details about your tour. The tour is only confirmed after you receive this email.

  • Changes in Availability: If a tour becomes unavailable or there are changes to the schedule, we will notify you as soon as possible. You can either request a refund or choose another available tour date.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Our Liability: We are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages that occur during the tour, except where required by law. We recommend that you take care when participating in any activity.

  • Force Majeure: We are not responsible for any delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, weather conditions, or strikes.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

By booking a tour with us, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your personal information. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data.
